The Outreach Committee serves as the public face of the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council (JPNC). Our goal is to connect residents with the Council while celebrating everything that makes Jamaica Plain a vibrant and welcoming neighborhood.
We believe that community engagement starts with conversation. Whether you’re a longtime resident, new to the neighborhood, a business owner, or simply looking for a way to get involved, we’d love to have you participate.
What We Do
The Outreach Committee works to:
- Promote participation in the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council.
- Increase awareness of Council meetings, committees, and community initiatives.
- Strengthen communication between the Council and residents.
- Highlight local businesses, organizations, and neighborhood events.
- Expand the Council’s presence through our website, social media, and community partnerships.
- Recruit and welcome new Council members and community volunteers.
- Ensure the Council reflects the diverse voices and experiences of Jamaica Plain.

The Outreach Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
