This month we debut the new JPNC website, which we’ve created in response to requests from the community for more information about the Council and its work.

An ad hoc Web committee was formed last fall to kick off the project, and has been working with the rest of the Council to develop the site’s structure and content. Mimi Kantor volunteered time to help with design and programming, while Greg Hunt provided the photographs you see at the top of each page.

Our goal is to make the site useful and relevant to the JP community by providing up-to-date news and information. We’ll post regular updates from the Council’s different working committees, times and locations for upcoming meetings, and minutes from previous meetings. We’ll also be linking to news stories that might be of interest to the people and businesses of Jamaica Plain.

We want this website to be a resource for the people of Jamaica Plain, so please send an email and tell us how we can make it better and what else you’d like to see .
