September 2016 Neighborhood Council and Committee Meetings (Rev. 2)


Public Service Committee: Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at Curtis Hall, 20 South Street. The agenda includes a review and discussion of the committee’s initiatives for the next two years.

Zoning Committee: Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street. Environment, Parks & Energy Committee: Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at JP Licks. Agenda includes Jessica Feldish, Manager, City of Boston Greenovate program (visiting); Upcoming meetings where EPE representation is desired (64 Allandale Woods development, West Rox Neighborhood Council meeting 9/20/16, 7:30 pm, West Roxbury Police Station (Centre St at the Holy Name rotary); DCR community meetings regarding status and prioritization of Emerald Necklace Access projects; and discussion of committee charter in JPNC by-laws and high priority action items on the list of working topics.

Housing & Development Committee: Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at the Bowditch School building, Green Street (enter at sidewalk level to the left of the main stairs). Agenda: TBA.

Zoning Committee: Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street. Agenda includes: (1) 89 Jamaica Street (construct a new 2 1/2 story, two-family residence on 3,662 square foot lot); (2) 44 Evergreen Street (combine parcels to make new 7892 square foot parcel; change occupancy from two-family to four-family residence; construction per plans); (3) Discussion by the Committee of 64 Allandale Street (proposal to develop 2-acre parcel with six buildings, including a total of 20 residential townhouse units (site zoned for ten)); and, (4) The fourth return of 14-16 MacBride Street (construct two two-family residential dwellings).  To review materials submitted to the committee, click here.
