1. Introductions.

2.Review/approve minutes of the May 24, 2016, Council meeting.

3. City Councilor Matt O’Malley discusses City Hall matters in recent months and what he foresees for the rest of 2016; followed by Q and A.

4. Announcements:

            4.1  Council vacancies (Area A: 2; Area B: 1; Area C: 3; At-Large: )  and interviews; and,

           4.2   Other announcements.

       5.  Committee reports/recommendations:

5.1    Executive Committee: recommends amending the JPNC by-laws

by striking out the sentence in Article 7 that states:

Chairs shall report to the Council … and submit names, addresses, occupations, and contact information of committee members to the Council for approval annually at the October meeting of the Council, or within thirty (30) days of the appointment of a new committee Chair or any new member.

       and by inserting in place thereof the following:

Chairs shall report to the Council … and submit names, addresses, occupations, and contact information of committee members to the Council for approval by the second Council meeting following the biennial election of Council members and annually thereafter, and within thirty (30) days of the appointment of a new committee Chair or any new member.

5.2    Zoning Committee;

5.3    Housing & Development Committee;

5.4    Public Service Committee; and,

5.6    Environment, Parks & Energy Committee.

             6. New business:

6.1.   Presentation by the Boston Climate Action Network on gas leak legislation; and,

6.2   Other new business.
