5. Committee Reports and Recommendations:

5.1 Zoning Committee report, including recommendation that the Council VOTE: (A) to approve/deny variance(s)/change(s) of use for properties at (1) 36 Hall Street; and, (2) 3215 Washington Street (To review the specifics of the zoning relief requested for these properties and the respective recommendations of the Zoning Committee, click PRELIM Zoning Report .  To review materials submitted to the committee for these projects, click here and, (B) VOTE to add Ronald Cross as a member of the committee.

5.2 Public Service Committee report, including recommendations that the Council VOTE: (1) To support the petition of 605GF, Inc., d/b/a “Grass Fed,” at 605 Centre Street, for an entertainment license for one TV only,  with Socrates Abreu as manager; and, (2) To support the petition of Centre Pond LLC at 597-605 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain to change the legal occupancy to restaurant with #36A take-out use at this address, with the proviso that the take-out use will stay with the current business tenant at 605 Centre Street, 605GF, Inc., doing business as “Grass Fed.”

5.3 Environment, Parks & Energy Committee report.

5.4 Housing & Development Committee report, including presentation by Ryan Manganelli, of Rep Sanchez’s office, on the legislation in the House on short-term rentals.
