February 2018 Neighborhood Council & Committee Meetings


Public Service Committee: Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 7:00 pm, at Curtis Hall, 20 South Street.  Agenda: TBA

Zoning Committee: Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 7:00 pm, at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street.  Agenda includes: (1)18 Marbury Terrace (Community Servings seeks to combine 15,408 square foot lot and 33,998 square foot lot and construct 17,000 square foot addition to existing building for catering/kitchen use; renovate 8,000 square feet in existing building; site work, landscaping, and grading); (2) 20A-20B Lee Street (build two additional dwelling units in location of current carriage house and shed, per plans); (3) 3247-3249 Washington Street (construct a 3-story residential building with four units and three interior parking spaces); and, (4) The return of 31-33 Woodlawn Street (modify existing building to create 3-family residence with exterior decks; construct second 3-family residence; total of 6 residential units with 6 parking spaces on site).  Please note that the project description for 3247-3249 Washington Street has been modified since the time the developer first filed plans. Housing & Development Committee: Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 7:00 pm, at The Bowditch School building, Green Street (enter at sidewalk level to the left of the main stairs).  Agenda: TBA.

Zoning Committee: Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 7:00 pm, at Farnsworth House, 90 South Street.  Agenda includes: (1) 137 Amory Street (Building C at 125 Amory Street site)(construct a new residential building on subdivided parcel — four stories with sixty-two (62) units): (2) 287 Chestnut Avenue (legalize existing three-family dwelling currently classified as a two-family);(3) 29 Goldsmith Street (change occupancy from two-family to three-family dwelling; renovate interior and raise height of building on existing footprint; building to have three residential units on four floors); and, (4) 34 Roseway Street (create driveway and two off-street parking spaces). Materials on the above matters, including plans and photographs, submitted to the committee may be accessed here.
