Looking to get involved in the issues that impact life in Jamaica Plain? Interested in having a say about new development, parks and open space, and public safety in our neighborhood?

The Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council is currently accepting nominations to fill a vacant seat in Area A. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and must live or own a business within Area A. Those interested in pursuing the seat should come to our next meeting, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 30 at 7pm at the First Baptist Church on Centre Street. Those interested in the seat will have a chance to introduce themselves to the Council, and a vote will also be taken that night.
